1. Practice feasibility assessment for office based anaesthesia

We will visit your clinic to allow us to gain an understanding of how your practice works, your typical casemix, the procedures performed, the physical environment, and any specific issues which may be relevant.  We will use this information to compile a report on how OBAS may be able to assist in providing general anaesthetic services in your practice.  The OBAS team has extensive experience in this field, and will endeavour to provide a solution to accommodate general anaesthesia in your practice.

2. Set up of OBAS compliant facility

After conducting the feasibility assessment, if your practice is deemed suitable for the provision of general anaesthetic services, OBAS will undertake the necessary steps to establish a safe anaesthetising environment in your practice.  This will be conducted in close consultation with you at all stages.  OBAS will supply all anaesthetic infrastructure (equipment, anaesthesia machine, monitoring, disposables, emergency equipment, etc), logistical support, quality control, ongoing maintenance, and staffing.  OBAS manages all of these processes at a negligible cost to your practice.

3. Provide ongoing anaesthetic service

After the set up process is complete, OBAS will continue to run every aspect of the anaesthetic service in your practice.  This will include providing anaesthetic staff, maintenance of equipment, supply of all disposables, ongoing data collection to monitor safety, and all administrative support necessary for the efficient running of this aspect of your practice.  This allows you to focus on your core business of looking after your own patients, in your own practice, on your own terms.
